Choreographer Johane Casabene brings this famous, magical fairytale by the Brothers Grimm to life on the Teatru Manoel stage through the beauty of classical ballet and the enchanting music of one of Sergei Prokofiev's most popular and melodious compositions written between 1940 and 1944. Cinderella, mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters, dreams of attending the royal ball. With the help of her fairy godmother, she gets a magical transformation and attends the ball, captivating the Prince. Leaving behind a glass slipper, the prince searches for her, ultimately finding her and marrying her, thus escaping her cruel life. The cast comprises of professional and student dancers from the Johane Casabene Dance Conservatoire.
