Note Eterne, Omaggio a Puccini

Għaqda Nazzjonali Każini tal-Banda presents a special concert on December 6 at the emblematic Teatru Manoel with the Malta Symphonic Band under the direction of Maestro Giampaolo Lazzeri in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Puccini's death. Esteemed performers of the National Band will take the stage to present some of Puccini's most iconic works. The concert will be a highlight of the commemorative series of events marking this special anniversary, offering the audience the opportunity to experience the emotional depth and dramatic intensity of Puccini's music in one of Malta's most prestigious venues. The program will not feature any of the typical arias usually performed, but instead, a number of never-before-heard pieces will be presented for Wind Orchestra, along with special transcriptions of newly discovered works by the acclaimed composer. The Malta Symphonic Band will be joined by tenor Cliff Zammit Stevens.
