FORTE TRIO

The State Trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan comprises prize winners of international music contests Maxat Jussupov (violin), Murat Narbekov (cello) and the founder and artistic director of the ensemble Timur Urmancheev (piano), Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Knight of the Order "Kurmet". The Trio was formed under the patronage of the State Concert Organization "Qazaqconcert".

FORTE TRIO's repertoire ranges from baroque music to modern jazz compositions, Kazakh folklore music and national classic music which holds an important place in the artistic activity of the ensemble.

The FORTE TRIO has an extremely busy touring schedule having performed in the world best concert halls, such as Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the Beijing Philharmonic, Cadillac·Shanghai Concert Hall, the Berliner Philharmonie with the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Cortot Hall (Paris) and the Moliere Concert Hall (Lyon) amongst others.
